the Marañón River
In the Department of Amazonas we have two major river basins belonging to the collector of the Amazon River drainage system, and one of them is the basin of the Rio Marañon hidrográficva.
El Rio Marañon born from the melting of Yarupa snow at 5800 m in the Cordillera de Raura, Province May 2 at the Department of Huánuco.
From its headwaters to the confluence of the Ucayali recorreo 1800 km passes through the District Camporredondo with an average flow of 332 M3 / S.
