Introduction

The continuing interest of musicians know anywhere in the world led to predictable questions to my daughter Mary Joseph and her husband Sebastian (living in Dublin since July 2001) about the presence of jazz in the Irish capital. The invariable answer: "Yes, in Ireland there are good jazz musicians, there are pubs where they play specific, concerts and festivals are making regularly visit the island leading figures from around the world.
In the first family visit in March 2003, on a narrow street we found a local (Paul Ryan Music ) dedicated to the sale of wind musical instruments. With the feeling of in the right place after seeing some accessories, I asked Paul Ryan, the owner, "
Where I can hear good jazz in Dublin?

The response gave rise to this short history. Introduction


My permanent Interested in meeting musicians in Any part of the world led to ForeSee questions to my daughter and her husband Jose Maria Sebastian - who live in Dublin Since July 2001 - about the Presence of jazz in the Irish capital. WAS and the constant answer, 'Yes, There Are good jazz musicians in Ireland. There Are Where They play specific pubs, There Are Also important concerts and festivals, and that's why outstanding figures from all over the world visit the island quite often.’

In a first family visit in March 2003, we found a shop ( Paul Ryan Music ) in a narrow street that sold wind instruments. With the feeling that I was in the right place, and after having a look at a few accessories, I asked Paul Ryan -the owner-, ‘Where can I listen to good jazz in Dublin?’

The answer gave origin to this short story:
